Roger Weeks, a gay singer-songwriter using he/they pronouns, grew up in the tranquil beauty of New Hampshire, raised by his single mother in a small town where the sounds of nature fueled his early love for music. Roger turned their poignant life experiences into intimate bedroom-pop folk songs, influenced by artists like Noah Kahan, Kacey Musgraves, and Taylor Swift. After his mother's passing, Roger moved to Los Angeles, where his music has continued to resonate with a growing audience of over 60k followers (30k Instagram, 34k TikTok). His 2023 single "North Dakota”, a song about finding love in being alone and the journey to self-acceptance, went viral with over 5 million views across TikTok and Instagram. They will wrap up 2024 with a series of performances, including opening for acclaimed folk singer-songwriter Hazlett on September 22nd at the Mission Theater in Portland, OR and at the Open Folk showcase at The Hotel Cafe on October 22nd. Roger is also set to release two singles in 2024, including the heartfelt folk ballad "Caught In The Chaos" on 10/15. Stay tuned—a debut album is on the horizon for 2025.
